REVOLUTION BIPOD® Lightweight Aluminum

Now offering the ARCA mount compatible with either the 419 or RRS clamps. (Clamp not included.) Available in Low, Standard, Medium and High Offsets.

ELITE IRON® has been researching and developing alternatives to the traditional bipod for years and has patented its proprietary designs based upon the deep experience of real-world tactical demands. Our efforts have resulted in the new REVOLUTION BIPOD® Lightweight Aluminum Model. Designed for rifles up to .338 caliber, it is the most revolutionary choice in superior design for strength, stability, adjustability, and choices in the tactical world today.

The bipod and mount weigh only 22.5 ounces. Bipod stance width is 12″ with legs retracted and 17.5″ with legs extended short leg versions have a 10″ to 14.75″ stance. The rifle barrel is not required to be centered in the bipod mount ring; as long as the barrel is not touching the ring’s inner surface, the bipod will perform as intended. Every REVOLUTION BIPOD® comes with a 2-year limited warranty. All parts are replaceable and available from ELITE IRON.

Revolution Bipod Overview

Elite shooters trust Elite Iron and the Revolution Bipod to help make the toughest shots. And here’s why…

Strength

  • No exposed springs. No cheaply made stamped parts. (1)
  • Legs and tube stems are made of 7075 aluminum. (2)
  • Leg locks are made from 17-4 Heat Treat Materials. (3)
  • Hidden springs are made from 316 stainless steel. (4)

Stability

  • The rifle can revolve 360º (5)
  • Maintains control of 2 axes of motion: side to side and up and down. (6)
  • Any position can be locked in place by tightening the tri-nut. Ease of movement decreases by tightening the torsion nut slightly until the final position is found and locked. (7)
  • REVOLUTION BIPOD places the rifle under the apex of the legs – NOT on top. The barrel is not required to be centered on the vertical axis of the ring. (8)

Adjustability

  • Allows for the rifle to have horizontal 10 o’clock through 2 o’clock movement. (9)
  • Length of legs adjusted quickly. One at a time and independently. (10)
  • Legs positioned or rotated forward, straight or back – in parallel or separately. (11)
  • The centerline of the ring is 7.25” with legs retracted and 12.25” extended on Standard Leg Bipod. (12)
  • The centerline of the ring is 6” with legs retracted and 10” when extended on the optional Short Leg Bipod. (13)
  • Attach different kinds of feet to match the environment. (14)

Choice

Every REVOLUTION BIPOD comes with a choice of one free mount.  You must choose the suitable mount for your rifle and the interface (at an additional charge) that matches that mount. However, an interface might not be needed if your rifle has an interface like a Picatinny rail.

Ordering your Revolution Bipod

Step 1 - Select Leg Length

(This step is skipped when you are selecting the Revolution Bipod .50 cal version.)

Choose your desired leg length.

  • Standard length legs: Barrel height is 7.5 inches closed, and 12.5 inches extended.
  • Short-length legs: Barrel height is 6 inches closed, and 10 inches extended.

Step 2 - Select Correct Mount

Your rifle’s Picatinny rail mount offset must be measured to select the correct mount to match your rifle’s interface. If one of our standard mounts will not fit your rifle, a custom mount can be made for you by contacting Elite Iron at (406) 244-0234.

Elite Iron offers the ARCA mount compatible with the 419 or RRS clamps. (Clamp not included.) Available in low, standard, medium and high offsets.

How to measure your Picatinny rail offset
Measurements must be in inches to the nearest thousandth. Measurements must be included in the Order Notes in your Cart to expedite the processing of your order.

Measurement #1

From the top of the barrel to the bottom of the Picatinny rail mount.

A custom mount will be required if Measurement #1 is greater than 2 3/4″ (2.750).

Measurement #2

10 reviews for REVOLUTION BIPOD® Lightweight Aluminum

  1. Luke Sly (verified owner)

The lightweight Revolution Bipod is a phenomenal addition to your long-range platform. Before this bipod, I was running a typical harris that was nothing to brag about, but it did the job. When I upgraded my chassis, I decided to add the aluminum revolution to have that extra edge, and it was the best decision I’ve made regarding the long-range game. The difference is night and day; between the stability on all types of terrain and being able to follow your trace is remarkable, there is no contender. Follow up shots are easier, I’m more confident in my shooting, and knowing that I have the versatility to shoot anywhere is an amazing feeling. I won’t be running any other bipod on any of my long-range guns ever again because of this bipod.

It’s hard to say enough about these bipods. They are the best and that sums it up. I own two and will not shy away from owning more.

  3. Carmen Spinelli

Phenomenal product. Very high quality very highly recommended. A relative of mine had one on his AR …I was so impressed I had to get one for myself! Good solid company.

  4. Jacob

Best bipod I’ve ever owned. Its versatility and stability is amazing, buy with confidence. I’ve owned B&T and Kac bipods and I’d pick elite iron hands down every time .

  5. Barry

Got the EI Aluminum non pan and couldn’t be happier with my purchase. I use it on a Desert Tech and AI and it allows adjustments for obstacles and terrain that no other bipod can match. I’ve even used the hanging feature between 2 rocks that others bipods stuggled with. Stability was perfect and I’m sure I helped sell a few that day.

  6. JARED SCHAUB

I have a 338 Lapua rifle so I wanted something really solid I wanted to keep the weight down slightly. So I went with the aluminum version of this bipod it is really solid I haven’t had any concerns about it.

  7. Christopher Williams

This bipod rocks! Ordered non-panning/lightweight/standard leg length with standard feet for Barrett MRAD in 338LM. Shot to 2,165 yards on 08JUN20 in Bland, VA. Absolutely love the bipod and truly believe it contributed to my success. It also folds more compact than my Atlas and the spread of the legs are what sold me. Ordered rubber feet and I think that will be perfect combo to shoot off of a hard surface.

  8. Gregory B. (verified owner)

I’ve read about these for years.

I finally broke down and bought one for my long range rifle.
    The hype is real!
    Amazing bipod.

  9. Michael Haley

Best bipod I have owned hands down! Got introduced to these at Alaska Precision Rifle Course by instructors Marc Taylor & Frank Galli. I own 3 of them!, one steel and two aluminum. Can’t go wrong with this bipod!

  10. ekpetty (verified owner)

Outstanding!!! A work of art. It actually fits over the large monster muzzle break on an Ruger RPR 338 lapua so it will go on without removing the break!!! Well worth double the money compared to most bipods!!!
